History

The committee was founded on June 13th, 1973. The population increase and traffic problems in the Cannes-Grasse area would led one to think that a way for public transports on a reserved site would be of great help to all those who do not own a car.

Realizations

The first step of acceeding to Grasse was taken on Sunday 28th May 1978, with the opening of the line from Cannes to Ranguin using the railcar X 94630. Unfortunately, he will not go further : he ran for the last time on Thursday November 23rd, 1995 (on the eve of a SNCF strike) and was not resumed at the end of this long strike. X 94630 was moved to Marseille Blancarde depot on Sunday, February 4th, 1996. To day it is offer to loan ... For more details (sorry, only in French).
