The MTVS ensures the rescue of the coach SE-Valmondois

In 2000, the Bf256 coach of Société des chemins de fer Economiques (SE) was given to the MTVS. Formerly used as dwelling in kennels, it was in a difficult wood of access for a truck. After several projects of rescue, the car was likely to break down. We decided to dismount it to store the elements before a reassembly on a new structure. This operation it is unrolled the 21, June 22 and 23.

The operation begin with the destruction from the rough coat which protected the woodworks since 1949. The various interior elements were dismounted. Finally the structure was separate into large transportable panels. The stringer beams, rotted, were cut. At least 75% of the case are recoverable for the rebuilding.
