November 17, 2008: Work of safeguarding of the Decauville Rail-car

It is in September and October that work of safeguarding has carried out on the Decauville rail-car, received in 2007.

This work consisted in closing the whole of the window by plywood, then the case was completely pickled by a sanding. Finally an anti-corrosion finish was applied.

The rail-car is protected while waiting for its restoration

The continuation of the restoration is not programmed. Other programs in progress are to be completed and others are about to be launched.
