Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 October, 2011: Festival of the Museum
Like each year, the first weekend of October, the MTVS makes its festival.
This year the festival will be dedicated to 35th Birthday of the association.
The activities will take place during the two days from 11 to 18.
With the program of this year
During the festival the association will celebrate its 35 year history.
It will also be the inauguration of the engine 75 of the Tramways 030T Ille-et-Vilaine.
The steam-Tram will circulate thanks to the engine 0.6.0T N°36 of CF des Côtes-du-Nord and the 0.6.0T N°75 of Tramways d'Ille-et-Vilaine.
With the participation of " agad Armor Argoat" Franconville
Exhibitions will be offered on 35 years of heritage preservation by the Railway Museum and the Tramways of Ille-et-Vilaine

The Steam-lock 0.6.0T 36 and railcar De-Dion from Côtes-du-Nord departing from Museum Station.

The material under renovation will be presented:
- The coach from Tramways du Quercy
- The elecktric railcar from Pierrefite – Cauterets – La Raillère (PCL).
To eat, Tortill' Bar, the new cafeteria of the Museum, will propose to you sandwiches and cold plates and of the artisanal products. A crepe stand will be also at your disposal.
