It is in 2002, that the MTVS acquired of a crane of help stationed on the “CF de Cerdagne” to Villefranche-de-Conflent. This vehicle is originating in line PLM Oranges - Buis-les-Baronnies where it was delivered in 1907. It arrived in the Pyrenees in 1958 after closing of the line.

The crane has just arrived at Butry-sur-Oise. Five years of administrative steps are completed. It was initially a convention with a future Regional Park which was to renovate and emphasize the vehicle. Three years after, the crane was forgotten on its rails. Finally it took us approximately two years to find the good interlocutor to be able to charge the vehicle with the power supplies by rail and overhead line. Then it is the last strike of the railwaymen which delayed the 2 weeks operation.
