May 29, 2007: The Project of the new Museum is confirmed

The MTVS studies since 1995 the project of resumption of the old line Chars- Magny-en-Vexin (12,5 km) in the north of the department of the "Val d'Oise". This project is carried out in partnership with the General Council, the Regional Natural Park of Vexin and other local institutions.

During April, the project was approved by the General Council of the "Val d'Oise".

The first operation will consist in clearing of undergrowth of 8 km of the line. This operation will be carried out by association Vie-Vert in a building site of insersion. The building site must begun about May 15, 2007 for one duration approximately 40 days. The platform of the line will then become accessible to the hikers while waiting for the building work from the railway.
