OPENING OF THE MUSEUM

The museum opens from Easter to All Saints Day:

  • on Sundays and National holidays
  • on Saturdays except in July and August

from 2:30 to 6 p.m.

The historical train circulates 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month and National holidays. Departure at 15:00, 16:00 and 17:00.

Because of a crumbling the terminus of the line is inaccessible to the trains.

THE FEES

The price-list includes the trip in the vintage train on operating days :

  • Adults and children older than 12 : Euros 5.
  • Children from 6 to 12 : Euros 2.
  • Younger children up to 6 : free admission.

A special rate for groups is proposed (+ de 20 peoples)

 

THE APPROACHES

By train:

At "Paris Gare du Nord", take the suburban train to Valmondois or Persan-Baumont via Valmondois and get off at Valmondois station.

By car (see the PLAN)

From Paris - La Défense:
Take expressway A14, then A86 and A15 expressway direction Cergy-Pontoise, then A115 direction Beauvais - Amiens
At Mery-sur-Oise take the N184 road to Beauvais.-Amiens
Take the way out to Mériel / Villiers Adam.
At Mériel, take the D922 to the left direction L'Isle Adam.
When leaving Mériel, turn to the left to Butry-Valmondois.
The museum is located by the side of Valmondois train (SNCF) Station
