At the terminus of the train, you have the choice to set out again towards the Museum or to continue while walking on the old line of the railroad: it is the GR1. The way crosses the village of Valmondois while skirting the house of the painter humorist Daumier. You will be able to make a small hook by the church of the village. While continuing your walk to the exit of Valmondois, you will arrive at the district of Naze where the museum of flour-milling recently created in an old mill is.
Auvers-on-Oise is one of the most known city of the Impressionists. You will find there many visit to be carried out: The Castle, the museum of the Wormwood, the inn of Doctor Gachet who accomodated Daumier, Pissarro, Daubigny, the Ravoux inn which accomodated Van Gogh, the house-workshop of Daubigny, the Daubigny Museum.
The center of this borough is very animated, in particular in the principal and commercial street. On the edges of Oise, the beach of Isle-Adam for the relaxation, on the heights, the forest of the same name, for stroll with foot or with bicycle.
Created by Saint Louis, the Cistercian abbey of Royaumont was one of the most important abbey of this organization. Today the Foundation of Royaumont is opened to the musicians and in many concerts are organized there.
The first constructions have more than 1000 years, it acts of a simple medieval home. It was increased with the "Renaissance" then transformed into splendid residence of lord at the XVIIIe century by the duke of Rochefoucauld and its daughter. The sight the top of pigeon is impregnable.
