After the vote of several laws in 1865 the department Council decides to grant several branch lines
The two formers were integrated in the main line system in 1900, the third one was taken in hand by the "Chemins de fer de l'Etat" in 1880. The latter kept its initial statute and had been successivelyused till 1977 by the Compagnie du "Chemin de fer de Mamers - Saint Calais", then by the "Tramways de la Sarthe", then by a district administration. Today a 17-kilometer stage still exists and is used by the Steam Railway Conneré- Bonnetable.
